Engineering Team Lead

Description

Join our R&D team as an Engineering Team Lead to drive the development of groundbreaking products. You'll lead a team of backend (Go) and frontend (React/TypeScript) developers while maintaining hands-on involvement across the full stack, with emphasis on backend development.

Working closely with the product team, you'll guide feature development from conception to deployment, make key architectural decisions, and ensure system scalability and performance. You'll balance technical leadership with people management, establishing best practices and mentoring your team to deliver excellence.

Requirements

Technical:

• 5+ years backend development experience, with 2+ years in a lead/senior role (Required)
• Strong proficiency in Go programming language (Required)
• Experience with full-stack architecture and system integration (Required)
• Working proficiency in React/TypeScript for hands-on frontend development (Preferred)
• Experience with large-scale databases (PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, Neo4j) (Preferred)
• Knowledge of microservices, cloud patterns, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) (Preferred)
• AWS cloud services experience (Preferred)
• Proficiency in REST API, gRPC, and message brokers (Kafka/NATS) (Preferred)

Leadership:

• Proven experience leading engineering teams of 3+ developers (Required)
• Strong project management and communication skills (Required)
• Experience with agile methodologies and code review processes (Required)
• Track record of on-time delivery while maintaining quality standards (Required)
• Experience in hiring and developing engineering talent (Preferred)
